Michell Noem\u00ed Ram\u00edrez Meza y Carla Mayte Montoya Ar\u00edpez representar\u00e1n a M\u00e9xico en la Serie Mundial de Softbol Femenil Pony League.<\/span><\/p>\n

Las dos porte\u00f1as, quienes cuentan con amplia experiencia en campeonatos estatales y nacionales, reforzaron al seleccionado de Mexicali, que sell\u00f3 su pase en el Pre Mundial Sub-14, que se llev\u00f3 a cabo del 17 al 20 de marzo en Delicias, Chihuahua.<\/span><\/p>\n

El combinado peninsular, dirigido por Juan Jos\u00e9 Moreno y Alejandro Torres, \u2018bautizado\u2019 como Yellow Machine, estuvo conformado por 14 jugadoras, 10 de ellas mexicalenses, dos tijuanenses y dos ensenadenses.<\/span><\/p>\n

Las bajacalifornianas consiguieron clasificar con r\u00e9cord perfecto, luego de derrotar en la eliminatoria de grupos, 16-4 a las anfitrionas Bravas de Delicias, 15-0 a Villahermosa \u2018A\u2019 y 12-5 a Culiac\u00e1n.<\/span><\/p>\n

En la ronda de semifinales pintaron de blanco a Villahermosa \u2018B\u2019 11-0 y se alzaron con el t\u00edtulo gracias al 16-15 impuesto a las culiacanenses.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cHicimos 70 carreras en el torneo, todos los juegos los hab\u00edamos ganado por nocaut hasta la final que s\u00ed estuvo dura\u201d, a\u00f1adi\u00f3 la vers\u00e1til pelotera que defendi\u00f3 las paradas cortas, intermedia, antesala y cuyo porcentaje de bateo rond\u00f3 los .600.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ram\u00edrez, receptora titular de la novena, dijo que, \u201cno recuerdo con cuanto termin\u00e9, pero s\u00ed estuve bateando mucho\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ambas confirmaron su presencia en la Serie Mundial de Pony League, a efectuarse del 20 al 24 de julio en Houston, Texas, donde medir\u00e1n fuerzas con los seleccionados de Aruba, Puerto Rico y Estados Unidos.<\/span><\/p>\n

Asimismo, dieron a conocer que en los perfiles de Facebook de Berenice Ar\u00edpez y Adriana Meza Galindo, estar\u00e1n anunciado las actividades recaudatorias que realizar\u00e1n en fecha pr\u00f3xima.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mayte Montoya. bisnieta Ram\u00f3n Montoya y sobrina de Armando Garc\u00eda Montoya, inici\u00f3 su trayectoria deportiva a los tres a\u00f1os en el beisbol, y cinco a\u00f1os m\u00e1s tarde, ingres\u00f3 al softbol, causando impacto inmediato, ya que, \u201cdesde los ochos a\u00f1os empec\u00e9 a ir a nacionales\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

Michell Ram\u00edrez, debut\u00f3 a los seis a\u00f1os en el \u2018Rey de los Deportes\u2019, disciplina en la que ha pertenecido a Piratas, Donkeys y Marlins, en el cual permanece, mientras que a los 10, comenz\u00f3 su exitoso andar por los diamantes softboleros.
